We made it to Manila today and are temporarily out of the way of the storm. Our flight to San Francisco doesn't leave until tomorrow so we are in a hotel for the night.
It was hard to say goodby to Karen and Tom this morning. They have changed my life and have helped me on the road to curing cancer. Their house seems like a safe haven from bad choices but now it is time to get back to my life and start making good choices on my own.
I thought about all the things that have brought about a healing. I don't know what was necessary for healing but I feel like each contributed in its own way. Here is my list:
green smoothies
Southwest Miracle ointment
clean spring water
raw, organic diet (mostly veggies and very little fruit)
colon cleansing
wheat grass juice
yoga
coconut oil, buco, and fresh coconut meat
no chemicals on the skin (such as lotion, deodorant, soap, toothpaste...
only natural products)
systemic enzymes
I will be taking a cancer test as soon as I get home but it will take a couple of weeks to get the results. I will post them when I get them. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I would love to answer any questions anyone might have. Just send me a note. Tomorrow...I go home.

Day 89
It has been a day of both worship and a day to keep an eye on the weather forecast. Bopha (Pablo) is now a category 4 typhoon and is headed straight at us. So we have decided to bug out early. We got our flight to Manila changed to tomorrow morning. By Tuesday morning, either the boats may not be running to the mainland or the airplanes may not be flying. If we get caught here, it could be a week or more before we are able to leave. So we will head for Manila in the morning and wait their for our Tuesday evening flight home.
Here is what the news on Google said about the storm:
Filipinos are urged to prepare as typhoon "Pablo" (international name "Bopha") is seen to enter the Philippines late Sunday and hit several areas in Visayas and Mindanao.
The typhoon could be the strongest to strike the country so far this year, with the U.S. Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) classifying it early Sunday as a "super typhoon" having winds that could peak at 231 kilometers per hour (kph).
"The typhoon east of Southern Mindanao is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility this evening and will be named 'Pablo,'" the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomic Services Administration (Pag-asa) said in its 11 a.m. bulletin Sunday.
Pablo has maximum sustained winds of 185 kph near the center and gusts of up to 220 kph, the state weather bureau added.

Day 88
I was feeling a little under the weather today, possibly from all the junk that got released into my system yesterday from the massage and sauna. So I just kind of laid low and took it easy today. My yoga this morning was very weak but at least I made the effort.
We only have a couple of days left here in the Philippines and of course we couldn't leave without some drama. We have a late season typhoon headed our way. We are hoping it moves slow enough that it won't arrive until we are gone. Unfortunately, it looks like it might make a direct hit on Boracay. It is expected to hit as a category 3 typhoon on Wednesday. Please send prayers!

Day 87
This was one of those luxurious days. Russ and I had hour and a half long massages that are designed to drain the lymph system. It is a much more gentle massage than other types. After that we had a sauna to sweat out the toxins that the massage released. I love this kind of pampering.
I found a very inspirational video today. When I get lazy with my yoga, I am going to watch this video. I have no excuses!

Every day we walk past the gate where the rotties are. They used to give a bark when we would go past but now they have come to recognize our foot steps or the sound of our voices or something. So when they know we are coming, they get down and stick their cute noses as far as they can under the gate and just sniff like crazy. Maybe it is our odor they recognize...

Day 86
More homework today. After lunch we went down to the beach. I put on a swimsuit for the first time in 4 years. It was great. I sat on the beach and made some vitamin D while Russ went snorkeling. The water here is crystal clear and it is a great place to look at the sea life.
We are planning out our last few days here and I have been doing some Christmas shopping on-line. I won't have much time when I get home to get things in the mail so I am trying to get ahead of the game.
I have been reading a book on "trigger points". When we have muscle pain like in our back or elbow, it is often because the muscle has knotted up and won't release. We can massage the area but that may not relieve it because the actual problem is somewhere else and just manifesting itself where we feel the pain. To get the muscle to release, we have to work on the trigger point. I was having back problems a couple of weeks ago and Karen brought in a therapist to show her where the trigger point was for my back problem. Karen dug into the spot with her elbow and it was very painful. But when she was done, all the pain went away. It was very cool. I got a book to show me how to do it and to understand the principle behind it. This is just one more natural way to take care of our bodies. Study , study, study!

Day 85
More homework today. We did have a fun evening. After dinner we had some mangostenes for dessert. I talked about them when I first got to the Philippines and there haven't been any available since then. All of a sudden the market has lots of them. So Russ got his first taste of a mangostene and it was instant love. Karen asked the cook to buy more for tomorrow. Yessss!!!
Part of our dinner conversation tonight was about monitor lizards. Tom asked if I had seen one yet, which I haven't. But there have been several times when I heard a lot of racket in the brushes below the deck and the rotties on the deck went crazy. I assumed it was a lizard. Tom said he has been hearing them out on the deck at night and Karen said one wondered into the office one day. She called maintenance to have it removed.
Monitors are 4 to 6 feet in length and can swallow a chicken whole. I'm OK if I don't come across one before I leave!

Day 84
One week from today we head home. Time is a funny thing. Now that I'm on this side of things, it doesn't seem like 3 months.
I pretty much just did homework today. I have to get ahead a little bit so that I don't get behind while traveling. Russ has been walking the rotties on the beach and taking care of correspondence. We talked to some of our kids today, which is always the highlight of my day.
Russ is doing well on the raw food diet. He is eating less food than he normally eats but is satisfied. I too am eating a fraction of the amount of food that I used to eat and yet I am not hungry and have plenty of energy. I guess when we eat food that actually has some nutrition in it, our bodies manage with a lot less.
