Good news! We set a "humane" mouse trap last night and caught the creepy critter! I kept waking up during the night to a metallic racket. I thought it was some rude person at the bottom of the hill working at night. But early in the morning it dawned on me that it might be the rat in the cage. I got up and checked and there he was. Trapped by his greed for toasted coconut! The maid carried him off this morning and was supposed to release it some where away from the house.
I had a fantastic day. I had 2 and a half hours of heaven. First I
had a full body scrub and then I was slathered in yogurt. I got up, took
a shower, then soaked in the coolest bath tub I have ever seen for
about 15 minutes while the therapist cleaned up the treatment room (and
the treatment room was gorgeous). I was then back on the message table
where I received a lymph drain. This is a light full-body message that
helps clear out the lymph system. Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!
This
evening I sat out on the deck after dark waiting for dinner to be
served. In the trees above me, several dozen fire flies put on an
amazing show for me. The fire flies here are very different from the
ones in the States. They are nearly as bright as a white twinkle light and they stay on for long periods of time. So when there are a lot of them in and around a tree, it looks like someone put up Christmas lights. It is totally magical.

This sounds like the perfect vacation day. I need one of these. Is that picture one you took or is it a stock photo? It's beautiful!
