At 6:00 this morning, a nurse came to the apartment and did a blood draw on all three of us. We got the results back this afternoon. How is that for efficiency?! At 10:00 this morning we headed for the beauty parlor. I had a pedicure, a manicure, a hot oil treatment on my hair, and a really cute haircut and style. This is a high end salon and do you want to know what all of that cost me? It was a grand total of $40. Any one of the things I had done would have cost me that much in the states. Do you think Russ will pay to fly me out every couple of months to have my beautification needs taken care of?
This afternoon we mainly ran errands. When we got back to the apartment, I was amazed to hear "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" blasting from somewhere down the hill. We are on the 10th floor so you know it was loud. Filipinos like to start their Christmas celebration in September. I may be all Christmased out by the time I get home!
