We packed up our grear and flew back to Boracay today. It was nice to be out of the big city and back to our peaceful island. I can't complain about the noise here anymore after being in Cebu.
On our flight, there were a couple of 20 something year old American men who were very excited to go to Boracay. I was surprised to hear their reasoning. They could hardly wait to hit the bars! Now why would you go through the time and expense to fly half way around the world just to get drunk? There is so much beauty here and so many fun things to do. There is kite surfing, para-sailing, scuba diving, sail boating, swimming, etc. and they are excited about the bar!
I was very glad to get in my bed, turn the fan on, and pull the mosquito net closed, and drift into sleep.
