Today was my personal yoga instruction from Karen. She worked me hard but I feel like I make faster progress on these days of instruction. I was so tired by the time we were done that I didn't have the strength to go and shower. I just went to the breakfast table and collapsed into a chair. After breakfast I felt pretty good and went and got cleaned up. But by lunchtime I was feeling some really sore muscles and so I went and got a massage at the spa. I felt 100% better afterwards.
I have continued to read up on green smoothies. I see that they are an important part of any diet. The testimonials I read indicate that even people that eat very healthy found a tremendous boost and were able to overcome health challenges that the healthy diet alone did not address. They talked about how much they enjoyed them. I can't say that I ever enjoyed a green smoothie. I started looking at recipes and discovered that they put a lot of fruit and not a whole lot of green in the smoothies. Mine were straight greens, Yuuuuckky! No wonder these other people were enjoying the smoothies. Even so, they were seeing all these great changes in their health. I guess I don't need to be so hardcore.
