The best Sunday since I got here! Russ called the local Stake President and received permission to have a Sacrament Meeting here. So I received the Sacrament for the first time since being here. It was so wonderful.
We had a quiet day. After our Sacrament Meeting we watched a video on the history of the Mexican colonies around the early 1900's. Because the Mexican revolutionaries were making life tough for the saints, the church members sent their women and children by train to El Paso. The community welcomed them with open arms and took great care of them, providing them with food, shelter, and what ever else they needed. It was a great story.
