The purpose for this blog:
To document my process of returning to health through natural methods. I will be detoxing my body and building my immune system so that it can do the work it was designed to do.
Today I leave for the Philippines. My flight leaves out of San Francisco about 10:00pm. It is a 14 hour flight to Manilla (look for a red dot in the northern islands), with one stop for fuel in Guam. Because I will be crossing the International Date Line, it will actually be early Thursday morning when I arrive in Manila. So this "post" is for Day 1 and Day 2. We eventually will go to an island called Boracay. You can see it on the map above (look for the red dot in the middle of the islands). Does anyone else think that the Philippines look like a skeleton of a horse?
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Leanne Thayne and I live in Chico, CA . For the last year I have been dealing with some pain in my upper left abdomen. I had an HCG level test which indicated I had cancer but the test doesn't tell you where you have it. A couple of weeks ago, after I had a colonic, I passed quite a bit of blood into the toilet so it looks like colon cancer. My sister had colon cancer about 8 years ago and I have had several pre-cancerous polyps removed so I am guessing that is where the cancer is.
I have decided to take a natural route for treatment. It makes far more sense to me to use a treatment that strengthens the immune system so that it can do what it was intended to do rather that take a treatment that destroys the immune system. My brother and his wife have generously offered to take me to their home in the Philippines where I can be treated with a clean, raw vegetable based diet, exercise, clean air, and beautiful scenery (not necessary for the cure but a nice bonus).
Everything I am doing is beneficial for most all conditions and I hope that as you follow me along my journey, that you will find ideas of how to improve your health. I hope you enjoy the trip.

Mason said the islands look like a turtle with long legs. So excited for you mom! Can't wait to read what you're doing everyday. Love you!
